A mounting bracket isn’t the hard part. The electrical work behind the screen determines whether it survives its first season of thunderstorms. Our licensed electricians handle:
| Service | What It Covers |
|---|---|
| Weatherproof Outlet Installation | In-use, weatherproof covers and GFCI protection built for exterior power. |
| Concealed Wiring and Conduit Runs | Power and cable lines routed through brick, siding, or stucco so nothing hangs exposed. |
| TV Mount Power Placement | Outlets and low-voltage lines positioned exactly where your mount goes, with no visible cords. |
| Outdoor Sound Wiring | Wiring for weatherproof speakers or soundbars synced to your outdoor TV. |
| Surge Protection | Outlet-level or panel-level surge protection sized for High Point’s frequent summer storms. |
| Smart Outlet Integration | App-controlled outdoor outlets that connect to your existing smart home system. |
| Electrical Safety Inspection | A full check of your outdoor circuit before we hook up a TV, so you’re not building on top of an existing problem. |
| Patio and Landscape Lighting Tie-In | Coordinated switching or dimming for lighting near your TV so glare doesn’t wash out the screen at night. |
High Point Patios Need Wiring Built for the Weather
High Point’s climate and older housing stock both shape how we wire an outdoor TV setup:
High Point Rain & Humidity
High Point averages about 42 inches of rain a year, with frequent summer thunderstorms that make weather-rated outlets and connections essential.
Oak Hollow Lake Exposure
Homes near Oak Hollow Lake can face added wind and moisture exposure from the water.
Historic Homes in Emerywood & Johnson Street
Older brick and plaster exteriors require careful conduit routing to avoid damaging original masonry.
Winter Freezing Temperatures
Outdoor connectors and seals need to handle repeated freezing temperatures during winter.
Newer Patios in Florence
Newer construction still needs weatherproof outlets, conduit, and sealed connections to withstand Triad rain and humidity.
High Point calls itself the Home Furnishings Capital of the World, and the High Point Market brings new outdoor furniture trends to the city every spring and fall. Homeowners who care that much about their outdoor spaces don’t want an extension cord running across the patio. We keep wiring out of sight, so your setup looks as finished as the furniture around it.
